Persentase Serat Sabut Pinang (Areca Catechu L. Fiber) dan Foam Agent terhadap Sifat Fisis Papan Beton Ringan Alimin Mahyudin*, Firda Yulia Citra

Abstract
Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang persentase serat sabut pinang dan foam agent terhadap sifat fisis papan beton ringan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode hand lay-up dengan memvariasikan persentase serat sabut pinang yaitu 0%; 0,2%; 0,4%; 0,6% dan 0,8% dan foam agent 0,06%. Sifat fisis meliputi densitas, kuat tekan dan kuat lentur. Pengujian kuat tekan dan kuat lentur menggunakan universal testing machine (UTM). Hasil menunjukkan densitas terendah diperoleh pada persentase serat 0,6% sebesar 1,42 g/cm3. Nilai kuat lentur tertinggi diperoleh pada 0,4% serat yaitu 37,5 kgf/cm2. Kuat tekan tertinggi diperoleh pada pesentase serat 0,2% yaitu 54,87 kgf/cm2. Papan beton ringan serat sabut pinang dan foam agent memiliki sifat fisis (densitas) lebih baik dibandingkan papan GRC.

The influence of Areca catechu L. fiber percentage and foam agent on the physic properties of lightweight concrete boar has been conducted. The research using the hand lay-up method with variation of fiber 0%; 0.2%; 0.4%; 0.6% and 0.8% and foam agent 0,06%. . The physic properties such as the density, compressive strength and flexural strength were determined. Flexural and compressive test are performed using Universal Testing Machine (UTM). The result show The board with 0.6 % fiber have the lowest density that is 1.42 g/cm3.The highest flexural strength of 0.4% fiber that is 37.5 kgf/cm2, the highest compressive strength of 0.2% fiber that is 54.87 kgf/cm2. The physical properties(density) of light concrete board with Areca catechu L. fiber and foam agent better than GRC board.
